|
|
I have downloaded Pre Os on my Ti 89t and have archied the files that I was told to. Everything to run Pre Os is now on my calculator. The only thing i have yet to figure out is to actually run Pre Os. Simple typing PreOs() just gives me a message say already installed. How do I actuallr run it. I read somewhere that you may need to run it by pressing the on + shift button. There is no shift button though. Thanks for the help.
Best Regards,

PreOS doesn't really "run", it works on background, just like the HW3PATCH.
I am not sure if PreOS can be used on Titanium. If you need a kernel, you should probably use Iceberg, it's specificly for Titanium and it's available at calcgames.org
the shift key refer to the up arrow beside 2nd. |

Preos can be run On a titanium. Thanks for the help. Ok, so now I have found the Preos browser. There are two section, contacts and main. In main I have ghostb, hw3patch, preos, and stdlib. Is there anything i can do with this, or do i need to download games now. And also, if I switch to iceberg, do i need to download anything else or take away any of these things. Thanks. _________________ Frankie B (King) |

| install hw3patch, then you can download games. In the readme file of the game if you see "Titanium compatible", just download and you can play. If you didn't see it, it may crash your calc. the solution is ghostb(). it make most games compatible to the Titanium. For instruction of ghostb see readme file with ghostb on computer. The stdlib is just a library; you don't need to do anything about it. |

Ok, I have Preos running like 5 games that are nustub or w/e. I have hw3patch already as well. Ok now for Ghostb, I have that, but how do I make a comma , on my ti-89t. I cant find it anywhere. Also, what I want to GhostB something, how do I know what file to do it to. For example: Smq the mario game, has 3 files, only one acutallu has smq.89 something. The others are like levels and and something else. Which one do i GhostBust. Thanks. Also, what do the stdlib do and whats a library. Do i need to include it when dl it on my calc. Sorry for all the questions. I just get real bored in math. Thanks alot!!!!
Best Regards,

comma is in 2nd-char-puntuation
For smq I have never make it work properly for me.....anyway, try to ghostb everything, ghostb will do nothing if it doesn't need to be patched
a library is like an external file that is require to run another file...i don't know exactly |

| you can have two stored on the calculator, but you can only install one...say, if you have iceberg installed then you attemp to install PreOS, it will give you a message like "Kernal already installed" and do nothing....you must uninstall iceberg before installing preOS. |
