Please try to tell me what I'm doing wrong. I have PreOS installed. I have hw3patch on there too (don't know if installed b/c when I put hw3patch() is simply says "DONE"). I also put in the ghostb...when I have it like ghostb(), it says "DONE".
Here's the tricky part. When I try to view my file from "WordRider" that I put on my Ti-89 Titanium, I push "2nd", "Var-Link", scroll down to "preos", push F2 (view), select my folder (that I saved my file in), see my file and put a check markk on it (F4), and that's where it stops..... If I push Enter, it goes to the main menu, if I push just about anything it goes to the main menu. What do I need to do? I think i'm doing everything right so far. PLEASE HELP! |

Hi mango84,
Welcome to TI-89.org forums.
PreOS is not an OS in the sense that it gives you special menus with all of your programs listed like the OS's on the TI-83. PreOS just installs some code in the background for crash prevention and other small fixes that makes other programs run that need specialized libraries.
If you want to run WordRider, go to [2nd]+[Var-Link] as you did before and scroll down to WordRider (or whatever it's called), and press Enter. Close the parentheses and press Enter again to run the program. The TI-89's VAR-LINK is all you should ever need to run your programs, even with OS's installed.
Hope this helps.
