hi, i was wondering if anyone knew how to graph parametric functions on the Ti-89 in R^3? When i try to graph it, there is are X and Y inputs, but there is no Z-axis.

Hi rock731,

Welcome to TI-89.org forums.

I'm not aware of any method available to graph 3D using parametric equations. However, I believe there are methods to convert parametric equations to z(x,y) equations, but that may be very messy. This is probably something better suited for a computer than a small, slow hand-held calculator.

Hope this helps.
