Hi mattc82,
Welcome to TI-89 Forums!
If you use the catalog to find your function, the parameters will be displayed in the lower left corner.
1) Press [CATALOG].
2) Press [T].
3) Press [DOWN] until your cursor highlights the "Talyor(" function.
You'll notice the text in the bottom-right of the screen now reads:
| Code: |
EXPR,VAR,ORDER[,POINT]
|
This tells you that the first parameter is an expression, the second parameter is a variable, the third is the order, and the fourth, optional, parameter, is a point.
You can use the catalog as the substitute for your manual. Just navigate to the function you are interested in and read the parameters from the bottom-left of the screen.
