i just got the ti-89 and when i try to find the sin or cos it just gives me the same number in (). for example i input sin(189) and it outputs sin(189).
how do i fix this? |

| easiest way is type sin(189) diamond enter |

Your calculator is probaly in exact mode. Press mode then f2 (page 2). Arrow down to exact press enter. Select approx then save changes.
When in exact mode doing simple things like dividing 100/500 only returns 1/5 instead of .2 |
