I'm looking here http://www.ticalc.org/pub/89/ and I see asm programs and I see flash programs. What is the difference between the two ?

Is there a document that I am missing on using the TI89 ?

Well basically asm programs asm programs are closer to the machine. So they can be faster and more efficient. However, if they crash it is more risky for you.

Just as a disclaimer, i do not have that much experience running programs on my calculator.
