For some reason everytime I derive something, it gives me a decimal answer.
For example, d(x^2,x) gives me 1.998. (Yes, i use the calc, italicized d not the normal one.)
And d(sin(x),x) gives me .017451
Could someone tell me how to change this? Thank You.

somehow you saved the value 0.999 to your x. i tryed on my calc, i got exactly the samething(and i know your calc is on degree mode Smile ) to fix this, go to 2nd-var link, scroll down to the varible x, and delete it.
