Ok, this is odd.

I have a regular TI-89, and it recently ran out of batteries. I bought 4 new ones, and put them in. Briefly after putting them in, I also sneezed (with the ti-89 in my hand). After turning it on, something didn't seem to work right.

Two columns of keys just don't work!

The computing and everything works fine, but I cannot make use of the following keys:

F2........F3
Mode...Catalog
Y.......Z
(.......)
7.......8
4.......5
1.......2
0......"."

See? They all line up vertically on my keypad, and I cannot use them! I tried pulling out and putting the batteries back in, and I just turned it off for now.

Please help - any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

Oh the climate is also kind of hot since I don't have an A/C atm (I'm on summer vacation and didn't want to buy one for only 3 weeks....).

Also, when I push 2nd and one of these keys, the 2nd does not go away. It's like me pushing the key does absolutely nothing. I have also cleared my memory.

Thanks in advance - anything and everything is appreciated!!
