Or use the root command: root(3,3) is 3 in the 3rd root.
Exactly, this is your best answer. The first argument is what you want to find the root of and the second argument is which root. |

Solve:
y’ = (-2) / (x^2 y) with condition y(0)= -1
and
(1/4)yt – yt-1 = -9 with condition y0 = 10

Yes, TI-89.org was improperly marked as BadWare. My guess is one of the popups that we used to have (took them all away) had BadWare in it which caused us to be labeled BadWare.

| Well, I hope the calculator is less than a half old. If it is, it's still on warranty and you can most likely get it replaced. Otherwise, you'll probably have to get it repaired...which is NOT cheap ... |
