When i connect the ti 89 to my Pc it sais unknown device !

When i connect the ti 89 to my Pc with the included usb cable, it telles me tha this device is unknown !
I updated the firmware oh my ti une day and then the ti shut down and i couldn't get the usb connection to work !!!
I also don't have the "notes" icon in the apps menu

I need some help

Make sure you insert the CD and install the software first.
