|
|
Does anyone know how to get the cube root of a number on the Ti-89 Titanium? I'm guessing there must be some way because even the most basic texas instuments calculators have a button for it, but I can't figure it out on my TI-89. I looked in the manual but to no avail.
Thanks,

| Or use the root command: root(3,3) is 3 in the 3rd root. |

Exactly, this is your best answer. The first argument is what you want to find the root of and the second argument is which root. |

| if you raise it to the 1/3 you have to make sure you don't forget the parentheses. So it would be x^(1/3). Also, if you can only use root if you have a TI-89 Titanium, it is not included on the regular TI-89s. |
