I dropped a TI-89 (not titanium) on the ground and now half the screen is brighter than the other half. After it's on for about two minutes, half of the screen is so light that I can't read it. Even if I adjust the contrast, half of the screen always fades out after a while. I've tried new batteries and reseting it, but neither helped. What should I do. Is it hopelessly broken? |

Well, I hope the calculator is less than a half old. If it is, it's still on warranty and you can most likely get it replaced. Otherwise, you'll probably have to get it repaired...which is NOT cheap.  |
