I'm trying to square root the number 3 and every time I try to do so it just gives me 3 as my answer.
I enter 2nd, SquareRoot sign, 3, ), and then press enter and it shows 3. It should be 1.73...
It works when I try to sqrt 25, it shows 5. I don't understand why it won't show any decimal places? |

Hi santinofil,
What mode is your calculator in (MODE -> Exact/Approx)? In exact mode it won't evaluate decimal roots.
You can also get a decimal result by pressing DIAMOND+Enter.
