I'm a new owner of a Ti-89 Titanium, and an Environmental Engineering Master's Student. I'm still getting used the calculator, as I've been out of school for a while, and was used to the RPN style of a HP48G. That being said, I noticed on this calculator that out of the box there was only roughly 380K of Flash memory left because of pre-installed apps. My calculator is going to be used as a calculator and not a "planner" so I think I'm going to remove these and make room for other apps. In looking at the TI website am I correct in assuming that every app that is on my calculator now can be put back on should I delete them and want them again later? Also, the manual isn't too descriptive in showing how to remove apps. Do I just hit 2nd, then Var-Link and then choose the apps I want to delete and then delete them that way? Lastly, in looking at the memory display there is a category that says "Other." What is stored in there? Thanks in advance and I look forward to learning how to more effectively use this calculator and hopefully contribute in helping others too.
