I'm trying to find the original OS (when the original 89 first came out v 1.0). Does anyone have a link to it? The Texas Instrument website doesn't have any of the older versions archived.

Recently my calc crashed and would only show ER_Throw on the top of the screen. The following things are what I already tried:

I did the left+right+2nd+on thing but it wouldn't turn on.

Take out all the batteries (including the backup one) and left it alone for 5 min.

Hairdryer blown in the I/O port. Blowing into the I/O port

Take out one battery and hold down 'Apps' button thing. I tried downloading version 2.09 OS, but after it reaches 100% it still wouldn't turn on.

I called tech support and all they had on hand was 2.01 (I think). He emailed it to me to try to see if that would work out. I'm d/ling it right now, but I might as well try other versions as well if this one doesn't work.

It would be much appreciated if someone still has it. Also, if there are any other things I could do before I give up and sell it for parts?
