TI-89 Titanium color differences

Hi!

My friend and I both have Ti89 titaniums, both hardware version 4.00.

The thing is, his calculators faceplate is darker than mine while mine is much lighter and kinda has a sparkle to it. Also the color of the names of the buttons is different between our calculators as well (his second buttons have a more yellow tinge than mine).

I was wondering what differences exist between our calcs and ultimately, which one is better.

Are you sure you have hardware version 4

Because in the new line of ti-89 titanium they include a lighter keys and a less Grey faceplate but anyway If you have HW4 then I can say that you and your friend have exactly the same calculator excluding key and faceplate colors.


Then me I have a question to ask you.

About the screen of your calculator, The display is clear it is nice ? how about the clarity in dim lighting because I have a ti-89 hw4 and the display isn't bright I's hard to see compared to my ti-92 plus !
The screen of your friend is the same as your ?

I'm pretty sure that my lcd isn't broken.
I bought my ti-89 from foreign country and it will be difficult to return it...
