Taking the cube root is the same as raising to the power 1/3 and on the TI89 you use the ^ key to calculate powers.
Example: to find the cube root of 4913
4913 ^ ( 1 / 3 ) =
Should give the answer 17
(because 17 x 17 x 17 = 4913) |
