Downloading Apps/Games

So I have been trying to download a few apps and games from a few website, including this one, but I can't seem to get anything to work. Other that the flash apps I downloaded directly from ti.com that go right into my apps screen I have had any luck of getting anything to work. I have a Mac but I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I was reading that I need ti connect version 1.5 or later, but when I try and see what version I have it says 1.6(19), otherwise I will have to "unzip" the fiels or something. I tried downloading the phoenix game, but when I try and drag it to my calculator it doesn't work. PLEASE help I want to get these application to work so bad. By the way it is a ti-89 titanium.

did you install ti connect?

once ti-connect is installed, at least on a pc, all you have to do is right click on a file you are going to send to you 89 and click send to ti device. on a mac, you might have to go into ti device explorer and drag the file (game) into the correct folder there
